Fixed Appointment 3 years renewable

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a new Chair of the Board at First Community Health & Care following the completion of two full terms by the existing post holder. We are looking to appoint an exceptional individual who will lead the organisation to the next level of its journey towards integrated care.

As one of four Non-Executive Directors you will lead the Board of Directors in maintaining a robust governance structure and work closely with the Council of Governors in developing both policy and strategic direction.

You will have proven leadership skills with knowledge and experience in systems leadership, change management and collaborative working. You will know how to lead and support a highly professionalised workforce in a complex environment to deliver quality health outcomes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential in this role.

Using your business experience, you will work with senior leaders across the health system, local government, voluntary and business sectors and be instrumental in influencing the future. Together with our highly engaged and motivated workforce, you will build upon our employee-owned social enterprise business status to maintain a vibrant, dynamic company dedicated to delivering quality services to patients.

A car is not essential for this role, however the candidate will need to have the ability to travel freely between our sites and to off-site meetings.

Do you want to be part of an organisation that is committed to providing first rate care and services to its local community?
