Primary Learning Support Assistant - Redhill based Primary School

NextGen Teachers are currently working with a warm and welcoming Primary school based in the Redhill area who are seeking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant in a position to start as soon as possible.

This role will be to support within the classroom working closely with the children and supporting those with additional needs and behavioural management. This position is working 30 hours per week and would be Monday - Friday during term time only.

The school are looking for a candidate with at least 1 years of experience working in a Primary school setting in the UK and who has a passion to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 as well as some exposure to SEN support.

Day to day could include:

  • Supporting the teacher with their responsibilities across the wider classroom
  • Support and advise in planning teaching material for any SEN support
  • Reporting back to the teacher on the progress of the children's work
  • Work as part of a team to ensure the children are getting the best opportunities
