Join Our Team as a Complex Needs Support Worker
Location:Redhill, Surrey
Salary:£12.00 per hour (£23,400 pro-rata) plus benefits.
Hours:37.5 hours per week, shifts vary between 7:30 am and 10:30 pm, Monday to Sunday (on a shift rota basis).
Contract:Full-time, Permanent.
Driving Requirement:A valid full UK manual driving license is essential.

We're looking for individuals to join our colleague team who can stay calm under pressure, who are enthusiastic and take a proactive approach, and handle behaviours that others might find challenging. What will you be doing?
As aComplex Needs Support Worker, you'll be more than just their support you'll be a key part of someone's journey towards living their best life. Here's what you'll be doing:
- Daily Care & Support:Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks.
- Building Relationships:Getting to know the people you support, understanding their needs, and helping them live life on their own terms.
- Empowering Independence:Assisting with personal goals, from daily activities to long-term aspirations, and encouraging creative exploration.
- Social Engagement:Supporting activities like holidays, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone could enjoy what they love doing.
- Respect & Dignity:Ensuring that the individuals and their families are treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and equality.
Working in one of our shared houses, you will support five people alongside our inclusive and supportive team. Together, you will work harmoniously to provide the necessary support to individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, physical conditions, trauma-related conditions, behaviours that challenge, and visual impairments.
In your role, you will utilise your expertise to assist the people we support. We highly value individuals who possess a strong work ethic and are open to the training we offer. You will be responsible for delivering both direct and practical support to the people we support and their families.It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance are important.
You will work in both 1:1 and group settings and be able to work independently and as part of a team.You will need to be calm, patient, and resilient and have a consistent approach. You will assist the people we support to engage in the interests they love.
