We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Graduate Aspiring Mental Health Analyst to join our dynamic team in Redhill. In this rewarding role, you will support children with complex needs and challenging behaviour in a special educational setting. Your work will focus on helping these children achieve their educational potential, supporting their personal development, and promoting positive behaviour in the classroom.

Responsibilities of a Graduate Aspiring Mental Health Analyst:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to children with complex learning needs and challenging behaviour in Redhill.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of tailored learning plans in collaboration with teachers and SENCO.
  • Implement strategies to manage behaviour effectively, promoting a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Assist with personal care and other physical needs where necessary.
  • Observe and monitor student progress, reporting any concerns to relevant staff members.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Support children in accessing the curriculum and maintaining engagement in lessons.

Skills of a Graduate Aspiring Mental Health Analyst:

  • Previous experience working with children with complex needs or challenging behaviour is desirable.
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with children who may have additional emotional or physical needs.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing challenging situations.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, special needs, or childcare (e.g., NVQ, CACHE) are advantageous but not essential.
