Day-to-day of the role:- Engage and Inspire: Deliver personalised educational activities crafted specifically for students with special educational needs, based on detailed individual learning plans.
- Adapt and Innovate: Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs and interests of students, ensuring every class is a unique learning experience.
- Foster Growth: Maintain a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages students to achieve their potential.
- Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with other teachers, parents, and educational specialists to foster a community that maximises student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Monitor Progress: Keep track of student development, adapting learning plans as necessary and providing constructive feedback to students and parents on both educational and behavioural progress.
- Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience as an SEN teacher or in a similar role, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and rewards of working with students with special educational needs.
- Adaptive Teaching Style: Skilled in creating and modifying learning activities to cater to a wide range of educational backgrounds and abilities.
- Exceptional Communicator: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and fostering relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
