This is a temporary role working for our client based in Redhill.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct scheduled inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HGV vehicles, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, implementing effective solutions to minimise vehicle downtime.
  • Carry out routine servicing and preventive maintenance, ensuring that vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to share knowledge and expertise, fostering a strong team environment.
  • Complete accurate documentation and records of all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an HGV Fitter and Technician, with a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and electrical systems.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of HGV issues, using the latest tools and technologies.
  • Sound knowledge of vehicle regulations and safety standards, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showcasing excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Possession of a valid HGV licence and relevant certifications.
