About the Role:We are seeking an inspiring and committed Health and Social Care Lecturer to join a college in Surrey on a full time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to educate and support learners at BTEC Levels 1 to 3, shaping the next generation of professionals in the health and social care sector.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Health and Social Care at BTEC Levels 1, 2, and 3.
- Create and implement innovative teaching materials to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to support student progression and achievement.
- Participate in curriculum planning and quality assurance processes.
- Maintain an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Stay up to date with industry standards and integrate these into teaching practices.
Essential Requirements:
- A teaching qualification such as PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience, preferably at BTEC Levels 1 to 3.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and a commitment to student success.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience with curriculum development.
- Familiarity with current Health and Social Care practices and regulations.
