Maths Teacher
Pay Rate: £180+ per day
Location: Nottinghamshire
Time: 8:30am – 3:30am
Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to work within a SEN school in Nottinghamshire, where providing 1:1 and group support if required. The role includes working children who have complex behavioural needs and using various strategies as a therapeutic method to manage challenging behaviours and to support the child’s learning. You will be teaching small classes of no more than 5 children who are all supported by Teaching Assistants.
The role includes:
- Planning lessons against the National Curriculum and differentiated the work to children.
- General Group support
- Supporting the Class Teacher with daily tasks and planning.
- Encourage learning and concertation in lessons
- Acting as a positive role model, energetic and always willing to support.
- Teaching GCSE standard Maths
The ideal candidates will have:
- Experienced in working with young children in a mainstream school.
- Experienced working with Challenging Behaviour, Autism, ADHD and Social and Emotional Mental Health
- Relevant qualifications will be an advantage
- Must have a good understanding of the curriculum
- Must be able to work full time – 5 days a week.
- Access to own car and valid drivers license (Essential)
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS Child and Adult Check – Must be on the update service. (We can assist you with a DBS if you do not have one)
- 2x References are a must in order to clear your file with GSL.
