Acorn by Synergie is proudly working in partnership with Pall Aerospace, who are seeking a CNC Setter / Operator for their site in Redruth, Cornwall, on a temporary to permanent basis.

With expertise in protecting every critical piece of fluid equipment on an aircraft, and experience with virtually every aerospace and defence program that requires fluid filtration and separation, Pall Aerospace has consistently evolved along with the industry and proudly stands as the world's largest aerospace and defence filtration company.

What will your role involve?

*Effectively and efficiently set / operate machines using the Planning Sheets, tooling, gauges and material provided

*Maintain a good volume of work through the machine using the guidelines of times given on the Planning Sheets or a time given as a result of a time request

*Maintain safe working practices at all times using all guards supplied with the machine and other safety equipment supplied by the Company. Operate within Company laid down procedures

*Work as a team member, co-operating with the other personnel in the Machine Shop and within the plant as a whole

*Maintain a good level of attendance and punctuality

*Maintain a good level of communication with Supervision and all other employees

*Undertake all reasonable requests by Supervision to assist production in the Machine Shop as and when required

You'll be working 8-hour rotating shifts, Monday - Friday, 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00, as well as the night shift 22:00 - 06:00

What are we looking for?

*The ability to work unsupervised

*Ability to read engineering drawings and instructions

*Competent in the use of Machine Tools, measuring equipment, planning sheets, operator inspection
