Role: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Redruth
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
Contract:Full Time, Permanent

We're looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to enhance our experienced and growing Construction and Civil engineering team.
Responsibilities of theSenior Mechanical Engineer:
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary design team to ensure timely and successful project completion, offering technical support.
- Prepare specifications, drawings, and contract documents, maintaining design quality and compliance.
- Drive company growth by identifying new opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships.
- Create client budgets based on specifications, and monitor expenditures to keep projects within budget and on schedule.
- Provide mechanical building engineering design for buildings and infrastructure.
- Identify and manage scope and schedule changes, ensuring effective planning and cost control.
- Coordinate with clients and external design teams to ensure project success.
Requirements of theSenior Mechanical Engineer:
- Relevant professional affiliation/chartership (MCIBSE,MRICS, IEng, CEng etc.).
- BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience managing junior engineers, apprentices, and graduates.
- Understanding of project commercial elements.
- Experience with Revit, Autocad,Microsoft
