Your new company:
You will become part of an organisation that are looking for community care workers so support individuals in their own homes. You will be supporting residents who are elderly, or with learning disabilities and complex needs.Your aim is to help them develop their independent living skills whilst providing an environment where they can thrive. This organisation has numerous homes across the Cornwall or East Devon regions, you will become part of a team that delivers a person-centred approach and creates a safe and stimulating environment where everyone can achieve their potential.Your new role:
This role will consist of supporting individuals in their own homes, helping support them through their day-to-day life. You will be involved in the daily living of the individuals, providing person-centred care and promoting independence when necessary. You will be responsible for providing personal care and support when required and may be required to administer medication. In this role, you have a real chance to have a positive impact on people’s lives and improving your standard of living. Shift patterns will consist of long days.
What you will need to succeed:
You do not need any experience within the social care sector, however you must be open to supporting vulnerable individuals, and you must also hold a full UK drivers’ licence to be considered. Full training will be provided for this role. Through this, you will be supported to gain qualifications and experience that will assist you in developing a career in social care.
