Educated Recruitment are looking a SEN Teaching Assistant for a part time opportunity in a school within Redruth.

The Job Role

We are looking for a passionate and driven teaching support staff member to join our team for this fantastic opportunity working alongside SEN students, part time during the rest of the Summer term until the holidays.

This is a part time position for Thursdays and Fridays until the end of term in a school within Redruth.

SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

- Supporting the class teacher

- Following safeguarding and school policies

- working 1:1 or with whole classes

- Liaising with school staff

SEN Teaching Assistant Essentials

- Previous experience working alongside children, ideally with SEN needs

- Knowledge of the curriculum

- A current DBS, or Update Service subscription (the agency can apply for this)

- A 3 year minimum reference history

- Reliability

- Excellent communication skills
