GSL Education is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Redruth. This is a full-time role supporting students with special educational needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN.
- Assist in the implementation of personalised education and support plans.
- Encourage social interaction and support students’ emotional well-being.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure student progress.
- A UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are mandatory.
- Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role is desirable.
- Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- DBS on the Update Service or be fully compliant to start work on 24/02/2025.
