I am pleased to be working with a small and friendly practice in Reigate to recruit for a Senior Accountant & Auditor.

This role is open to experienced auditors or someone with strong accounts preparation experience who would like to expand their expertise and become trained in auditing too. Day-to-day the work split would be 60:40 audit to accounts, with responsibilities as follows:
- Leading audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and deadlines.
- Conducting risk assessments, developing audit plans, and executing audit procedures with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Preparation of statutory financial statements for a wide range of clients.
- Maintaining good relationships with clients to progress audit and accounts preparation assignments.
- Mentoring and coaching junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and grow in their roles.
- Staying informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide value-added services to clients.
To succeed in this role, you will have a minimum of 3 years working in an accountancy practice and either be an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant or a finalist.
