This role has a starting salary of £52,047 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week. The position is offered on an 18-month fixed-term or secondment basis.We are excited to be hiring a new Business Intelligence Manager (BI Manager) to join our Surrey Fire and Rescue Service Data and Digital team. The team is based in our offices in Woodhatch Place in Reigate. We promote agile working as a team and we split our time between working from home and working in the office (at least 2 days per week). The role is offered on a hybrid basis.Rewards and Benefits

About the TeamSurrey Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) provides an emergency service that looks after approximately 1.18 million people spread across approximately 1,676 square kilometres in a county that includes several large urban areas. SFRS delivers services to ensure our communities are safer, whether it be preventing and protecting people from fire and other risks or responding swiftly and effectively to the emergencies that occur.The SFRS Data and Digital Team provide the data management, analysis and insight that underpins the work of the service. The team lead on the improvement in the use of data and the management of our digital technology.About the RoleThe Business Intelligence Manager will drive forward improvement in our use of business intelligence across the service, managing teams who carry out key data functions. The role-holder will work closely with internal and external partners, and lead analysis for our Local Resilience Forum. The role will include oversight of internal and external reporting, information governance and implementation of the NFCC data management fire standard.
