* Pastry Chef - Term time only* £23,189* 40 hours per week* 40 weeks per year* 10:00 - 18:30* Monday to FridayAn exciting opportunity at a boarding school to support the Chef Manager and team. You will be working alongside a close knit team catering for students so working well as part of a team is essential. The pastry chef would be responsible catering pastry for the students from cakes, crumbles to pizza bases at a high volume. Work ethic and the ability to work well within a team are essential. This is a Monday to Friday role working from 10:00 till 18:30 having every evening and weekend off. This role would suit a chef ideally from a fresh food background that has a basic knowledge of pastry to be able to execute crumbles and sponge cakes for the students and staff of the school.Work life balance... Three words that do not often come up in a chef's vocabulary, yet this is exactly what this position is offering! Within this premium B&I setting, you will have every weekend off and all day time hours split over 5 days per week which makes this role a great way for a Chef to continue working with fresh food, cooked to the highest standards but with much greater work/ life balance.
