My client is seeking an experienced Sales Executive in the freight industry to join their successful team.
The role involves selling air, road, sea, and courier services, as well as internal and external pricing, cold calling, and client visits.
Candidates must have previous freight forwarding and sales experience, along with strong communication and negotiation skills.
A full UK driving license and residence within a 15-mile radius of Gatwick Airport is required.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Daily duties would include:

Selling air, road, sea and courier services
Internal and external pricing
Cold calling
Client visits
Liaising with key accounts, sales and operations
Quoting customers and follow ups
Update customer tariffs
Rate negotiation
Identifying market trends, potential and customers needs
Lead marketing and the communication of the product offering across the business

Skills required:

Previous freight forwarding experience
Freight sales experience
Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Strong negotiation skills
PC literate
Full UK driving license and in a 15 mile radius of Gatwick airport
