- Building and managing strong relationships with customer contacts across all functions; Sales, Supply Chain, Technical, Product Development, Merchandising.
- Working with the internal Procurement team on new and existing business, constantly assessing the market on buying opportunities for your customers.
- Project managing NPD as well as any current product changes.
- Proactive management of customer stock levels working with the internal Supply Chain team.
- Working with the Category Insight Manager and Marketing Manager on best-in-class customer presentations utilising IRI and internal data.
- Management and reporting of sales and contract balances.
- 2.1 or above in a relevant business degree.
- Strong preference for a food industry background although other FMCG products will be considered
- Ideally 1+ years commercial or internship sales experience, ideally within the commercial retail sector, with a proven ability to win new business
- Previous exposure of working with/managing UK retailers
- Hands on account management with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and negotiate in a confident manner
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Strong presentation skills
- A fantastic competitive salary bracket of £30,000 - £40,000, depending on experience
