About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician to join our team for an exciting commercial new build project. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an individual who has a strong electrical background and is looking to work on a large-scale, high-profile construction project.
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards. You will also play a vital role in ensuring safety and compliance with regulations while working within a team on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical installations, terminations, and maintenance work on a commercial new build project.
- Ensure electrical work complies with industry standards, regulations, and site-specific requirements.
- Complete first fix and second fix installations as required.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Work closely with other trades and site management to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain high levels of health and safety on-site, ensuring compliance with SSSTS and other relevant safety practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that arise on-site.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- ECS Gold Card (Electrician).
- Proven experience as a qualified Electrician, preferably on commercial new build projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installations.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications.
- Good working knowledge of electrical regulations and codes.
- Strong focus on safety and quality control.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
- SSSTS (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- First Aid qualification (preferred but not essential).
