A small, family-run construction consultancy is looking for a Principal Designer to oversee a new portfolio of projects as part of their ongoing growth. The Principal Designer role:

As the Principal Designer and CDM Advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and providing guidance on design safety risks across the portfolio of projects in the pre-construction phase. You will be supported by a team of CDM Advisors and Architects in this role.

The Successful CDM Consultant Will Have:

  • NEBOSH Construction (required)
  • Tech IOSH (minimum)
  • APS membership (required)
  • Design degree: Architecture / Civil Engineering / Engineering / Surveying (preferred)
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a CDM role (required)
  • Skills: Strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
