Key Details:

Salary: £27,000

Location: Redhill, with hybrid options (minimum 2 days in-office, Tues/Weds/Thurs)

Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday

Role Overview

In this data-centric position, you’ll play a pivotal role within the Energy Operations group, managing complex processes while ensuring optimal performance across key areas such as billing, data precision, and client satisfaction. Your attention to detail will guarantee that each data point is thoroughly monitored and accurate, while your analytical insights will be instrumental in driving ongoing improvements across the board. You’ll not only keep operations running smoothly but also identify opportunities to enhance overall efficiency, making you an integral part of the team’s success.

Responsibilities:

- Keep operations running smoothly, meeting tight deadlines and service levels

- Resolve issues promptly and professionally, ensuring customer needs are met

- Communicate effectively across teams and with clients

- Produce insightful monthly service performance reports

- Test new IT system functionalities and ensure data accuracy

- Monitor industry data and maintain its integrity for billing processes

- Handle billing and reconciliation tasks efficiently

- Liaise directly with customers to resolve billing issues

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in an analytical or process-driven role, ideally in utilities (gas or electric)

- Strong analytical abilities and data manipulation skills

- Ownership mentality with a problem-solving mindset

- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach
