Electronics Test Engineer - Surrey - up to 50,000 + Bonus + Benefits - REF 1877
I am currently recruiting for an Electronics Test Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Surrey. Salary up to 50,000 + Bonus + Benefits.
The organisation has been established for over 30 years and are renowned for the best at what they do within the defense and military sector on a global basis. They are a small yet specialist team employing close to 50 people, but turnover is over 20 million annually with that figure set to continue moving upwards based on the ever-increasing demand for their products and systems.
To support the business with the current workload and in line with their expansion plans they have the need to appoint another Electronics Test Engineer on a permanent basis.
In this role as an Electronics Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting and repairing electronic circuits and systems on a range of complex electro-mechanical products, which could be down to component level. You will also be expected to assist R&D and this may include helping build and assemble products at both prototype and production stages and then test and further develop them whilst ensuring the highly regulated standards they're governed by are being adhered to. This role will be based on site, but there will be travel when required to customer sites to help with the installation and integration of the electronic systems, or to help rectify any issues.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Electronics Test Engineer or similar
- Experience testing, troubleshooting and repairing electronics
Desirable Requirements:
- RF (Radio Frequency)
- Previously Security Cleared (SC) or Develop Vetted (DV)
- Understanding of Embedded or Firmware
