Are you a People Partner with a flair for creating a high-performance and people-first culture? Our client is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a People Partner on a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) for 12 months.

Location: Reigate

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract

Contract Length: 12 months

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)

Working Pattern: 2 days per week onsite | 4.5 day working week (Half Day Fridays)

About the role:

As a People Partner, you will play a vital role in providing advice, support, and guidance to the Line Managers cohort on all people-related matters. Your proactive and forward-thinking approach will allow you to identify and deliver people interventions to support the organisation's business and people strategies. By defining and implementing talent acquisition and development strategies, you will attract, retain, and develop the best talent. Additionally, you will provide business stakeholders with informed advice on various topics to help optimise organisational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Line Managers and the wider People team to develop succession and talent plans, ensuring effective implementation.
  • Proactively identify risks and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Be a trusted advisor to the Line Managers, providing expert advice on all people matters.
  • Enhance manager capability and team performance by partnering with the Line Managers cohort.
  • Drive a culture of continuous feedback through upskilling and coaching managers on people and performance management matters.
  • Measure employee engagement and collaborate with the wider People team to implement strategies that cultivate a high-performance culture.
  • Champion the organisation's values and embed them throughout the employee journey.
  • Collaborate with the wider People team to attract top talent through workforce planning.
  • Identify learning and development needs, ensuring they are addressed.
  • Stay updated on employment legislation, trends, and recommend necessary actions for Employee Relations issues.
  • Analyse and report on People metrics, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to other members of the People team as required.

Essential Skills:

  • Relevant experience in a People Business Partner function, driving change across assigned business areas.
  • CIPD qualified or working towards it, or qualified by experience.
  • Strong background in various HR disciplines such as operations, reward, recruitment, talent, ER, performance, and capability.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to advise and influence management teams, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Hands-on approach with a willingness to get things done.
  • Experience in implementing processes and handling legal and compliance issues.

Desirable Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and advise on cultural change.
  • Change management experience.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
