Finance Assistant Full-time - 8:30am – 5:30pm£25K - £32KReigate, SurreyOverview:My client is a growing Construction company, and are seeking a new Financial and Helpdesk Assistant. This dual-role position has come available due to growth, and is perfect for a detail-oriented individual with experience in finance and customer service. Financial Assistant Responsibilities:- Assist with annual audits and monitor invoicing.- Manage supplier ledger, process expenses, and handle timesheets.- Conduct reconciliations and prepare supplier payments.- Support month-end close and contribute to process improvements.
Helpdesk & Contract Support Responsibilities:- Handle general administration and financial tasks.- Coordinate job logistics and liaise with clients and contractors.- Maintain job tracking systems and support subcontractor access.
Candidate Profile:- Proven experience in finance roles, with a preference for candidates with a background in SMEs.- Proficient with Sage 50, Sage Payroll, and Microsoft Excel.- Knowledgeable in CIS, Reverse Charge VAT, and bank reconciliations.- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
