Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Systems Engineer to join our MOD/Government Systems Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and delivering MOD/Government projects while providing technical support, training, and customer engagement. This role requires flexibility, independence, and the ability to meet challenging project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Configuration: Lead the design and configuration of MOD/Government projects, ensuring all technical requirements are met.
  • Project Delivery: Coordinate with the projects office to deliver assigned work in accordance with project specifications.
  • Testing and Evaluation: Test and evaluate new equipment and software to ensure compliance with project requirements and performance standards.
  • Documentation and Verification: Prepare all necessary technical documentation, verify equipment against project specifications, and define IP structures for new projects.
  • Customer Support: Provide training and support to customers, attend meetings to discuss future projects, and engage with MOD/Government agencies as required.
  • Field Support: Travel to customer sites to support project implementation and resolve technical issues.
  • Technical Proposals: Contribute to the development of new technical proposals and support future projects and enhancements.
Skills and Experience:
  • Security Clearance: Must hold or be able to achieve DV Security Clearance.
  • Educational Background: Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience; an engineering degree is preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in ICT and satellite communications; network design and configuration experience (Cisco CCNA or equivalent).
  • Communication and Management: Excellent communication, time management, and administrative skills.
  • Adaptability: Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Professional Credentials: Professional registration is desirable.
