Position: Breakfast Chef
Location: Normandy Hotel, Renfrew
Overview
40 hours per week
Salary - £26k per annum
The Breakfast Chef is responsible for preparing breakfast items in a timely, efficient and safe manner. This position requires the ability to work early morning hours and serve a variety of menu items to guests. The Breakfast Chef must have a keen eye for detail and ensure excellent presentation of our breakfast menu items. Duties include preparing menu items according to recipes, stocking and preparing food items, and maintaining a clean work environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a breakfast chef in a busy hotel setting, be highly organized and have a positive attitude.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare breakfast buffet items as per company standards
- Ensure Breakfast buffet all set to standard and ensure items are replenished when required
- Always maintain cleanliness and food hygiene standards
- Ordering breakfast items stock and ensuring accurate rotation
- Assisting with lunch/conference service
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations
