Anderson Knight is currently recruiting a Procurement Sourcing Specialist for one of our clients based in Renfrew.
As a Procurement Sourcing Specialist, you will play a key role in our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for sourcing and procuring goods and services necessary for our operations, ensuring that we achieve the best possible cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify and secure the best suppliers and vendors.
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to achieve favourable outcomes.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analyses to ensure competitive pricing and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, emerging products, and potential suppliers to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Contract Management: Prepare and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, production, and logistics teams, to align procurement strategies with business goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement and supplier performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management..
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as CIPS, or equivalent are a plus.
