- Responsibility for controlling and confirming the monthly reporting of the international portfolio to the Group’s reporting functions
- Reviewing and documenting the differences between local international GAAP and IFRS
- Maintaining the IFRS adjustments throughout the year for the Group’s consolidated accounts
- Analysing and investigating the monthly balance sheet variances
- Working with both external and internal audit around year-end responsibilities
- Reviewing the local statutory accounts to the Group financial statements to ensure the integrity
- Working collaboratively with the wider finance function and providing exceptional service to the wider business community
- Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or ICAEW qualified)
- Experience working in a group central finance function or in practice working with large group clients, ideally with international subsidiaries but not essential
- This would also suit a driven and diligent individual with strong technical accounting expertise and seeking a first or second move from practice into industry
- Strong expertise in financial reporting and controls, statutory accounting, IFRS and GAAP standards and controls   Â
- Exceptional internal and external stakeholder management skills and willing to challenge
