Tax Accountant

Our client, a leader in the insurance and financial services industry, is recruiting a proactive and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join their expanding team.The purpose of the role is to ensure compliance with UK tax regulations and maximise tax efficiency for the Group. You will support corporate tax compliance and reporting functions for UK and international group companies, working closely with Group Tax Managers.Duties include preparing annual corporation tax computations, supporting year-end tax reporting under UK GAAP and IFRS, calculating quarterly tax instalment payments, developing best practices in tax accounting, assisting the Tax Manager with ad-hoc projects, and identifying process improvements.The ideal candidate will hold a professional ACCA/ACA qualification with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Experience in a similar role, a strong understanding of UK tax laws, excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential. Knowledge of Alphatax, international tax regimes, and a European foreign language are desirable.
