£25,000 to £32,000 + Benefits

Flexible hours available (The role can be offered on a Full Time or Part Time basis)

Are you an experienced Accountant or Bookkeeper looking to join a successful family owned business, which is around £5m in turnover?

You will be reporting directly into the Managing Director in a small finance team.

The business is growing after securing some impressive contracts and the business is known for its friendly team culture. This is an exciting opportunity where you can have some flexibility around your hours, very useful if you are looking for hours to work around school times, or looking for a role which has reduced hours if you were looking for a 4 day week for instance. The role however is also available on a full-time basis.

What will you be doing?

  • Prepare and review annual budgets
  • Manage the invoice process
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Prepare cash flow
  • Prepare and submit VAT

What are we looking for?

  • Experience keeping accurate financial records and handling transactions
  • Act in a confidential manner with regard to financial information of the company
  • Excellent organisational skills coupled with a high attention to detail
  • Someone who is proactive and can work on own initiative
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Reliable and hard working with a can-do attitude
