A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work for a reputable manufacturing business in Retford. The successful Maintenance Engineer will report into the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for all machine maintenance on site. Working Hours: Monday-Friday – 8:00am-4pmSalary: £35,000- £40,000 (up to £43k with add ons)Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Duties and Responsibilities include: • To carry out preventative maintenance on equipment as part of the PPM scheme • To maintain the factory facilities - power distribution, lighting, compressors, steam raising boilers • To produce a daily report of work done, spares used, follow up as required • Provide support to other disciplines where required • React quickly to breakdowns and prioritise workload The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience: • Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering • Experience doing both preventative and reactive maintenance • Previously worked in a manufacturing environment • Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
