Job Title:Â HR Assistant
Location: Powys, full time office (with potential to go hybrid)
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 DOE
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday an early finish on a Friday
About the Role:Â We are seeking a dedicated and efficient HR Assistant to join our client. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for HR, looking to develop their career and contribute to the future-proofing of our business. The successful candidate will support various HR functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including vetting candidates and aligning job descriptions.
- Manage low-level case work such as absence management.
- Take accurate notes and maintain diligent records.
- Ensure contracts are correctly compiled and understood.
- Support the auditing of files and cleaning of data.
- Participate in recruitment campaigns and best practice initiatives.
- Provide support for payroll and outsourced payroll functions.
- Work with new HRM systems (UKG, Chronos, iTrent, ADT).
- Coach on KPIs and reporting.
Requirements:
- Working HR experience.
- CIPD Level 3 qualification is desirable.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong work ethic, adaptability, and ability to multitask.
- Sociable and approachable, yet focused and trustworthy.

Career Progression:Â This role offers a clear progression path from HR Assistant to HR Advisor and eventually to HR Manager. We are looking for someone who is starting out in their HR career and is eager to grow.
