The role of the Supply Chain Planner is to produce production plans that are operationally efficient while also meeting customer demands. Cross-functional working is key to ensuring a smooth operational model and to providing excellent Customer Service.

The role - SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER:
- Ensure Operations has all the necessary components to achieve the production plans – including the call off raw materials and ITR’s
- Produce and communicate fixed production plans for Print and Lamination
- Ensure slit plans are aligned with the confirmed availability date
- Ensure capacity reservations and shift calendars are maintained within the SAP
- Ensure Date Management is maintained to provide an excellent level of customer service
- Ensure maximum efficiency in product campaigning, utilizing cross-functional working
- Ensure re-confirmations are communicated to Customer Service in a timely manner
- Update Supply Chain MDI report and host Daily meeting
- Report Delivery Accuracy & Delivery Capability failures, ensuring relevant RCA’s are completed
- Attend Target setting and Capacity Meetings
- Attend trial review meetings and align production processes to achieve trial dates
- Collate Open order book, report and present at daily meetings.
- Maintain relevant MRP Controllers
- SAP booking in of raw materials from External Suppliers
- Ensure good SAP housekeeping and data integrity
What our client is looking for in a SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER:
- SAP R3 production planning
- Customer Focused
- Thorough understanding of how a successful supply chain operation works
- Intermediate/Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Evidence of continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written
- High level of accuracy
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
