- Shorterm Group is seeking a sheet metal worker for an international airlines MRO facility at Cardiff airport in Barry, Wales.
- The position is a 6-month rolling contract, requiring 4+ years of direct experience in sheet metal working within an MRO environment.
- Candidates must hold a level 3 qualification in aviation or be apprenticeship qualified, along with various current certifications.
- The pay rate is £19.09 per hour through PAYE or £24.89 per hour via umbrella.
- Candidates with military experience in sheet metal work on planes or helicopters will also be considered.
The suitable candidate will have:
4+ years of direct experience in SMW in an MRO environment.
Must hold a level 3 qualification in aviation or be apprenticeship qualified.
Human factors initial and Current Certificates
FTS current certificates
EWIS Group 1 + 2 current certificates
If you don't hold these, you will require to gain/Renew them before your application can be submitted.
We will consider candidates from the forces with SMW experience on planes or helicopters.
Position details:
6 months rolling contract.
Location: Cardiff
Shift: 4 on 4 off days 6:20 am - 6:20pm.
PAYE: 19.09ph
Umbrella: 24.89ph
