ARC is currently looking for a Store Person in Wrexham for 6 months industrial work.

10 hours paid per day.

Digs will be booked by client.


Scope of Work: Construction Stores Person (Internal Code: S0011)

Position Overview: The Construction Stores Person will be responsible for managing welding consumables and associated materials, ensuring a safe and organized working environment, and maintaining accurate records of all materials received and issued. The role will also involve keeping records of purchases up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the inventory of welding consumables and associated materials, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
  • Receive, store, and issue materials as required, ensuring accurate records are kept for all transactions.
  • Ensure the storage area is organized and complies with safety standards, including the safe handling of welding materials.
  • Keep detailed and up-to-date records of purchases, materials received, and issued, ensuring that all documents are accurately maintained.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team and suppliers to track deliveries and maintain stock levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and audits to ensure accuracy in stock levels and records.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the storage area, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Report any shortages, damaged goods, or discrepancies to the site supervisor and procurement team.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in construction stores management, particularly with welding consumables and materials.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly in relation to storage and handling of welding materials.
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and the project team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
