ARC is currently looking for a Quality Control in Wrexham for 6 months industrial work.

10 hours paid per day.

Digs will be booked by client.


Scope of Work: Construction Quality Control (Internal Code: Q0011)

Position Overview: The Construction Quality Control professional will be responsible for overseeing the goods receiving process, ensuring that all delivered pre-assembled pipework is accurate to the drawings and free of visual damage. The individual will be tasked with logging and reporting any discrepancies or issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect all incoming pre-assembled pipework to ensure it matches the technical drawings and specifications.
  • Check for any visual signs of damage or defects on the delivered pipework.
  • Log and report any discrepancies, damage, or non-conformance with drawings or specifications.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and the project team to resolve any issues related to discrepancies or damage.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, deliveries, and any identified issues.
  • Ensure all goods received are properly stored and handled to prevent damage.
  • Work closely with the site supervisor and Quality Control Welding Inspector to ensure timely resolution of any quality issues.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in quality control on construction sites, particularly in pipework inspection.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to identify and report discrepancies and defects in delivered materials.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with suppliers and the project team.
