Portfolio are proud to be working with an established Chartered Accountancy Practice in North Wales to recruit an experienced Payroll Bureau Manager. Reporting directly into the head of payroll this position will manage a team of 3 Payroll administrators producing an accurate and timely payroll service to their large client base. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility in terms of working hours and some fantastic benefits, this will be based out of either their Manchester or North Wales office. This role is due to the continued growth of the business and may require some travel to other locations. Our client is looking for someone to manage both the team and a portfolio of clients.

Key Duties/Tasks:

  • Managing a team of Payroll Administrators to produce a full end to end payroll service
  • Drive positive change to current processes, analyse as is and drive a plan for the future of the Payroll function
  • Drive efficiencies, system upgrades and role evaluations
  • Liaise with key stakeholders as part of the senior management team
  • Liaising with clients and providing a first class Payroll service
  • Providing support on benefit analysis
