Job Role
The Maintenance Technician is a key part of our North Wales team. This person will install, commission, maintain and repair a variety of Extrusion, Fibre termination Machines, associated plant and equipment to a professional standard and within prescribed times. Responsibilities for this role include:
- Undertake Preventive Maintenance work schedules to specified standards and procedures and maintain all relevant written records as applicable.
- Carry out Fault Finding and Diagnosis of machinery and equipment breakdowns, both on a mechanical and electrical basis, with a focus on providing high levels of service and response times.
- Undertake machinery / equipment repairs both mechanical and electrical.
- Maintain written records of all breakdowns and repairs allowing for analysis and compliance with ISO 9000standards.
- Contacting and liaising with machinery and equipment suppliers in respect of spares requirements, progress work in hand and planning of Service Engineer visits.
- Be available as a go-to person for operational, and machinery related requests
- Be involved in continuous improvement and investment projects
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Maintenance Technician/Engineering field.
- Practical working experience in a maintenance environment using both Mechanical and Electrical skills.

Monday to Friday
Rotating shift patter, Mornings, Afternoon and night shift
