Full Job Description:
As a Plumber on this contract, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plumbing systems in kitchen and bathroom refurbishments within occupied and void social housing properties. This role requires a professional who can work independently to deliver high-quality plumbing services, with attention to safety and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities & Activities:
- Complete plumbing installations, repairs, and refurbishments in kitchens and bathrooms within social housing properties.
- Work in occupied properties, ensuring minimal disruption to residents and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
- Diagnose and resolve any plumbing issues encountered during installations.
- Conduct testing and inspections to ensure all plumbing installations meet quality standards.
- Coordinate with other trades and site supervisors to ensure smooth project flow and timely completion.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, particularly when working in occupied properties.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, reporting any issues to the project manager.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification (essential).
- Proven experience in social housing or similar residential environments, especially in kitchen and bathroom refurbishments.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and installation techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good interpersonal skills for working in occupied properties and communicating effectively with tenants and colleagues.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel around Rhyl and North Wales as required.
Salary and Package:
Our client offers competitive hourly pay, with opportunities for overtime based on project needs. This is a stable 9-month contract with potential for extension based on performance.
