We are seeking an Assistant Accountant - Accounts Receivable to become an integral part of their finance team who is wanting to develop a career in finance within an extremely fast growing and dynamic business.

Assistant Accountant - Accounts Receivable Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and pursue cash collections from customers
  • Issue weekly report of actual cash collections and aged debtors outstanding per region.
  • Post and apply cash received to the customer account, resolving any customer deductions
  • Identify and resolve cash collection problems in collaboration with non-finance colleagues
  • Investigate customer claims and debit notes, obtaining approval from sales team.
  • Issuing debit and credit notes to customers
  • Running credit checks for new customers
  • Setting up credit limits & terms for new customers
  • Ensuring receipts are up to date
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Provide support to auditors as required
  • Update pricing for existing & new customers in NetSuite.
  • Check and approve pricing on all orders.
  • Liaise with customers in order to sort out sort payments or any other issues.

Assistant Accountant - Accounts Receivable The Candidate:

  • At minimum to be Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/AAT.
  • To have advanced excel skills.
  • Good knowledge of accounting systems
  • Strong IT, literacy and numeracy skills.
  • A good work ethic, and an ability to prioritise the workload
  • Strong communication skills
  • Have the drive to support the continuous improvement within the Finance team and spread best and effective accounting practice across all areas

Assistant Accountant - Accounts Receivable Rewards:

  • Competitive Salary: £35,000 - £40,000. Reflecting the role's significance within the organisation.
  • Bonus Scheme: Up to 7.5% of annual salary, based on company, division, and personal performance.
