Senior Building Surveyor - Design and specification focused practice with amazing clients!

My client are an interdisciplinary construction consultancy, based in Southwest London, known for their diverse client base, including Harrods and the National History Museum.

They are now seeking a new Intermediate to Senior Building Surveyor to join their close-knit team.

Role and responsibilitiesAs the successful Building Surveyor you'll have access to a wide range of project portfolio's across the retail, education, healthcare and public sectors, managing and delivering from inception through to completion.

  • Design and specification of new structures and renovations.
  • Preparation of specifications, obtaining tenders and preparing contract documents.
  • Overseeing contract administration.
  • Lead building surveying projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, contractors and regulatory authorities.

Person specification

  • BSc/ MSc in Building Surveying (Ideally or RICS accredited degree)
  • Either MRICS or equivalent level of experience
  • Well-rounded experience, both professional and project services
  • Public sector project experience would be beneficial
