We are recruiting for a Senior Technical Coordinator to join our client, a leading residential developer, on a long term, high-end residential scheme in West London.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leading role on the project and support the Technical Lead.
- Check and process Architectural and Engineering drawings.
- Ensure that all project information is fully checked and co-ordinated.
- Issue drawings and information for construction purposes, using the correct protocols
- Ensure enquiries and applications go to statutory service companies and local authorities.
- Liaise with Architects, Engineers and sub-contractors for information.
- Assist the department in maintaining updated processes in regards to Building Regulations and any other Statutory Bodies.
- Internal liaison with Planning, Commercial, Construction and Sales.
- Prepare and monitor technical specifications
- Attend site / project meetings as required
- Update and issue drawing trackers ensuring they deliver information in line with the Build programmes
Technical Competencies
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in technical role for residential developer working on high-rise mixed use schemes
- A degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of Building Regulations and current legislation relating to residential / commercial development.
- Computer literate, good numerical, verbal and written skills.
- Confident and can demonstrate ability to lead a design team and manage internal staff.
- Effective communicator with ability to build strong relationships.
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to work under pressure and multi task.
