Sales/Project Manager

An exciting opportunity to work for leading construction company specialising in lofts, extensions, and new builds with a first-class reputation earned over 15 years, they are expanding and seeking a highly motivated Sales/Project Manager with a strong background in construction, exceptional customer service, sales acumen, and meticulous attention to detail. The projects range from £100,000 to £2,000,000, running simultaneously with a continuous demand for more. This role is 60-70% field-based, requiring close collaboration with clients to tender and win projects, and support on-site.
Day to day of the role:
- Attend new project site visits, understand client requirements, and produce tenders with the aim of winning the project.
- Understand the build, maintenance, and refurbishment journey to accurately quote for works, including materials and labour.
- Manage tendering requirements from feasibility through to implementation.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, in coordination with the project manager.
- Read, understand, and interpret technical documents, drawings, and plans.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including clients, suppliers, contractors, and other third parties.
- Monitor overall performance of projects, including materials, equipment, and contractors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other external stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sales/Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Strong customer service and sales skills are essential
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to quote for construction works accurately.
- Experience in tendering and project management.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and plans.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
