Position Details:

  • Role: Teaching Assistant
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 am to 4:00 pm
  • Start Date: Immediately

About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support Learning: Work closely with teachers to foster a safe, fun, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
  • Individualized Attention: Provide tailored support to children with SEND, working with them on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Assist in organizing and implementing engaging educational activities, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Encourage Progress: Motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential, offering guidance and encouragement every step of the way.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience with Children: While experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with SEND, is preferred, we welcome candidates with any background working with children in the UK.
  • Commitment: Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 08:30 am to 4:00 pm, starting in September 2024.
  • Passion for SEND: Comfortable providing 1:1 support to children with special educational needs.
  • Compliance: Must have, or be willing to obtain, a Child-Only DBS check.
  • Proximity: Ideally reside in or near Richmond, or within a reasonable commuting distance
