Description
Managing a portfolio of arrears cases within the 60-90 day aged debt category, arranging sustainable repayment plans, and reviewing contractual documents to enhance the recovery process. The role involves identifying vulnerable customers and tailoring recovery strategies accordingly. Additionally, the Account Manager liaises with Asset Management for valuations, reviews cases for bad debt provision, and makes recommendations for write-offs. They also guide other team members through the recoveries process, cover early arrears collections when needed, and prepare reports for management.
Profile
A successful candidate for this role will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in collections, specifically in bad debt collection, insolvency, litigation, and asset recovery. They will possess essential knowledge of contract and consumer credit, with a background in Finance & Leasing or Motor Finance. Strong negotiation and decision-making skills are crucial, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and capable of working independently while managing tasks efficiently.
