We are excited to be opening a brand-new nursery in Ham Street, Richmond in April 2025, and we’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team! Our setting is designed to be a homely, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and develop to their full potential. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in making this vision come to life.

Key Responsibilities of the Early Years Practitioner:

Provide high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
Support the planning and delivery of activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring a stimulating and engaging environment for the children.
Build strong relationships with the children and their families, promoting open communication and collaboration.
Observe and assess children’s progress and development, keeping accurate and up-to-date records.
Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, supporting colleagues and encouraging a positive atmosphere.
Ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe, and conducive to learning, with attention to hygiene and health and safety regulations.
Promote positive behavior and provide support to children as needed, helping to build their social and emotional skills.
Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, nap times, and outdoor play.

What We’re Looking For in an Early Years Practitioner:

Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (required).
Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
Passion for providing high-quality care and education in a homely, nurturing environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive, collaborative atmosphere.
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
A caring, patient, and understanding approach to working with young children.
