The successful candidate will be supporting the Site Manager in maintaining a safe, clean, and secure environment for both staff and students. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Conduct regular routine inspections of the buildings and grounds, documenting findings and promptly reporting any issues to the Site Manager.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the playground, paths, and fire escapes, and manage the disposal of litter and waste in outdoor bins.
  • Operate and maintain school utilities and perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Report any health and safety concerns or defects to the Site Manager.
  • Ensure fire safety equipment is serviceable and in proper condition.
  • Handle the security of the school premises, including locking/unlocking gates and doors.
  • Act as a main key holder, managing the secure storage and distribution of school keys.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience within a 'hands on' similar role or relevant qualifications 
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS clearance.
