The successful candidate will be supporting the Site Manager in maintaining a safe, clean, and secure environment for both staff and students. Day-to-day of the role:- Conduct regular routine inspections of the buildings and grounds, documenting findings and promptly reporting any issues to the Site Manager.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the playground, paths, and fire escapes, and manage the disposal of litter and waste in outdoor bins.
- Operate and maintain school utilities and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Report any health and safety concerns or defects to the Site Manager.
- Ensure fire safety equipment is serviceable and in proper condition.
- Handle the security of the school premises, including locking/unlocking gates and doors.
- Act as a main key holder, managing the secure storage and distribution of school keys.
- Experience within a 'hands on' similar role or relevant qualificationsÂ
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS clearance.
