Job Description of Floor Layer:
As a Floor Layer, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials in both residential and commercial settings. Your duties will include:
- Cap and Cove
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and layout plans.
- Measuring and cutting flooring materials to fit specific spaces.
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and correcting any imperfections.
- Installing flooring materials such as carpet, tile, linoleum, and hardwood.
- Applying finishing touches to ensure a neat and professional appearance.
- Performing maintenance and repairs on existing flooring.
- Adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a clean work environment.
