We are dedicated to supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and are looking for a committed and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support for students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and other learning needs, both in one-to-one and small group settings.
  • Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and strategies to meet students' unique needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to create an inclusive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
  • Foster students’ emotional well-being and confidence, encouraging their independence and personal growth.
  • Support lesson delivery, help prepare resources, and contribute to classroom organization.
  • Monitor and document student progress, sharing updates with parents and colleagues as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting is preferred but not essential.
  • A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children of varying abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • A proactive and flexible mindset, with a willingness to contribute to all aspects of school life.
  • Familiarity with strategies for supporting children with SEN, such as autism or ADHD, is a plus.
