Warehouse and Logistic controller

Role
To provide professional and efficient administrative support and people management to the warehouse management team to ensure internal and external customer service excellence. Support managing the goods flow pipeline for finished goods from production to dispatch between sites.

Key responsibilities
• Administer booking in and dispatch process
• Take control of all daily inventory across the company
• Weekly and monthly stock check and sort stock discrepancies
• Working with 3rd party transport
• Monitor inbound and outbound delivery schedules
• Management and filing of all paperwork to ensure compliance to ISO and FSC
• Arrange collection for waste
• Liaise with ordering team for PPE
• Maintain Health and Safety objectives for a safe working environment

Communication and reporting
• Collect data for KPI reporting
• Completing of daily / weekly reports
• Attending team meetings when required

Skills
• Inventory experience preferable
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and part of a large, varied team
• Leadership experience
• Ability to work under pressure and organise skills to manage and prioritise a busy schedule in a fast-paced environment
• Good knowledge of all MS packages including Excel and Word
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail along with ability to check own and team outputs
• You will show good problem-solving skills, be a proactive thinker and creative

We need a candidate who is happy that the role combines some working outdoors too.

The salary is £26,000 ( £12.50 per hour) whilst on agency and after 12 weeks when perm goes up to £28,000 (£13.46 per hour)

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 6am – 2.30pm with a 30 min unpaid lunch break each day -= 40 hours per week.
